Deborah Nelson is a trial lawyer based in Seattle. She represents people who have been injured, sues insurance companies for wrongfully denying claims, and holds corporations accountable for harming people. She is a past president of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association and is active in her state and national trial lawyers associations. To balance the demands of her busy law practice, and to keep her mind and body young, Deborah participates in a variety of competitive sports including triathlons, half marathons, and bike centuries, where she has finished in the top 3 in her age group. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her life/law partner, Jeff Boyd, in Seattle, Sequim, and beyond. As she approached her 40th birthday (a few years ago), Deborah began an intensive exploration of what it means to live fully in a healthy, mindful, and active way and to enhance her health and fitness beyond what she experienced in her younger years. She is especially interested in nutrition, fitness, and living the motto “older, faster, stronger!”
