Tim Berry

By some standards I am old, but by others I am young. I was born in Ontario, California in 1947. I grew up loving to rambunctiously ride my bicycle around the neighborhood, playing very sophisticated games of hide-and-seek, climbing our neighbors trees, and running barefooted most of the summer. I have loved living in California (South & North), Puerto Rico, Montana, Michigan, and Washington. Jane and I have been married since 1969. We have three daughters and two grandchildren. We also now have a Golden Retriever puppy named Poppy. I love to travel, but have way more of the world to visit than I have time or money. Living in Port Townsend, Washington is an absolute treat. I love our quaint Victorian town and the many music, food, and art venues. I am extremely passionate about fishing. I enjoy saltwater fishing for salmon and crab. However, fly-fishing for trout in fresh water is my greatest passion. In fact, I have been a fly-fishing guide for about 20 years in California and Washington.

Q My 52-year-old sister supposedly was diagnosed with Multiple Personality Disorder about ten years ago. I guess it is now called Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Ask Dr. Tim: I have been diagnosed with “Pseudo Seizures”…am I going CRAZY?

Q I am a 61-year-old female who has recently been diagnosed with something called “pseudo seizures”. When I began having seizures several months ago it was as imagined very scary to both me and my family. My understanding, is that as the names suggests, they are not “really seizures”. They certainly look and feel like Ask Dr. Tim: I have been diagnosed with “Pseudo Seizures”…am I going CRAZY?

Virtual Reality

Now I am really showing my age and old fuddy-duddy-ism! I don’t know about you but I find the various commercials on TV about Virtual Reality units puzzling. First, a disclaimer. I have never tried one, so I don’t really know what I am missing…perhaps. I do understand how one can be transported to another Virtual Reality

Cloud Gazing

So, how long has it been since you took time to gaze at the clouds? No, I don’t mean sticking your head out the door to check the weather. I mean really taking time to lie down on your back and spend time watching the cloud formations. Frankly, for me it had been quite a Cloud Gazing
